Notice

Hi. To anyone who's been reading this (I know you're out there, gosh darn it!), I'm going to start updating this site on a weekly basis every Monday. And if you know of a blog which never got the attention it should have during its "lifetime," drop me a line and I'll put it up here.

mr. dutton went to mozambique / Thoughts from Moz

Two great blogs about the experiences of westerners in Mozambique. The first, mr. dutton went to mozambique, was about a biology teacher who worked there from 2002 to 2005. And the other, Thoughts from Moz, is about a Peace Corps worker who taught there in 2001.

My Manifesto

A lot of people don't like writer Dave Eggers. Andy Kaufman Returns

This blog caused a little controversy a few years back. Decide for yourself. Is this some guy having some gentle fun... or this the real Andy Kaufman, returned from the dead and merrily commenting away on Blogger?

I'm a PD

An interesting site which told the day-to-day story of a public defender somewhere in California. Said lawyer eventually departed for the private sector, depriving countless strangers of their sole reason for existence.

Query Letters I Love

Of course, what if the two cops in the last post actually turned out to be partners? And what if, you know, they like really hated each other and kept writing about it in their journals and kept getting into wacky adventures in the Texas drug world? Wouldn't that make for the best movie ever!?!?

Unfortunately, no. All it mean is that it would be ready for this site. Run by a couple of Hollywood producers, it's where bad film ideas went to die.

(And if that doesn't satisfy your need for cruel fun, you can always try Query Letters I Love 2 - the action-packed sequel!!!!)
